Let's Fly a Kite

Hi Crafty Friends,
I love the Hello Summer Stamp Set from Brass & Bliss, the kite icons are one of my favorite. I created this Clean And Simple (CAS) card using Brass & Bliss stencils and dies to create my scene.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Have you ever flown stunt kites?
A: Me? Yes, my family used to fly them every summer in Pentwater, Michigan

Step #1: I used Brass & Bliss Oval Mask Stencil and Cloud Stencil with Shades of Blue from the Color Fuse collection with the Brass & Bliss Brushes to create my sky. Then I splattered it with white Copic paint.

Step #2: I die cut the sky using Brass & Bliss Nested Scallop with Half Holes Die and mounted it on White Holographic Cardstock and rounded edges.

Step #3: I die cut the the Brass & Bliss Hello Script with Shadow die out of the holographic cardstock and mounted it on white to keep the CAS look. I finished my card by adding the clouds from the Brass & Bliss Cloud Tree Dies and rainbow colored kites to the sky.

  4. Pretty card with the kites!
I have flown kites. We used to live on the central coast of CA and it was windy pretty often, so a great place for flying kites!
