Hi Crafty Friends,
I created a Beachy Christmas Slimline Scene featuring Lawn Fawn's Beachy Christmas Stamp Set and Pixi Dust Designs Beach Day Slimline Die.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you have a beachy or snowy Christmas where you live?
A: Me? Snowy! I'm in Chicago
Step One: Color up all the icons on the Lawn Fawn Beachy Christmas Stamp Set. I used the following Copic Sketch Markers: Light Greens: YG09, YG07, YG05, YG03; Dark Greens: G28, G19, G05; Red: R39, R37, R35; Light Browns: E55, E53, E51; Dark Browns: E27, E25, E23; Yellows: Y38, Y35, Y15
Step Two: Take a sheet of red cardstock and kraft cardstock measuring 5.5 x8.5 each and cut the frame of the card in red and the sand out of kraft.
Step Three: Use Distress Oxide Ground Expresso Ink with a small sponge or dauber to ink the edges of the sand. Then adhere the kraft sand cut out to the red frame
Step Five: Arrange the waves against the sand and cut out the sky in the lightest blue paper. Now you are ready to add your images to your beach scene.
Step Six: Cut two Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts Palm Trees from green and brown scrap paper and 2-3 Heffy Doodle Swirly Cloud Dies for your sky.
Step Seven: Using Bearly Art Glue adhere your images, palm trees, and clouds to the beach scene leaving room for sentiments.
Step Eight: Add the Merry Beachy Christmas, Warm Wishes, and Holiday Sentiments to the sand and stamp in Altenew Black Obsedian Ink.
And now your have the most festive Christmas Beach Scene Ever!

ReplyDeleteI am more apt to have a little bit of snow where I live, but probably just a light dusting!
❤️❤️❤️π I love all your layers and detail! Beachy Christmas themes are always so adorable! I have neither; normally cool and overcast. Thank you for playing with us at Park Hopping My Happy Place. ππMerry Christmas! Makira
ReplyDeleteReally fun card! I love at the beach so it's a beachy Xmas for me! Have a wonderful Christmas
ReplyDeleteWe had a "beachy" Christmas because
ReplyDeleteof all the water falling out of the sky.
Luckily it was all liquid and not snow.
Been really warm but that's changing
tonight. Love the card. thanks
