Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm soooo EXCITED to be Guest Designing for Double Trouble Challenges for the Month of May! The second challenge this month is #139... Let the Troubles Begin....
WELCOME
to Challenge #139 - Let
the Troubles Begin!
Friday, May 26th - Thursday, June 8th
"We Dare You"
says, "It's Dare Day on June 1st! We all know that it's human nature to challenge others with tasks to test not only our own
courage but also the courage of others. So, I'm daring you to come out of your comfort zone, and fearlessly create a masculine project.
"And what better time to make a masculine card than for Father's Day which is Sunday, June
18th (in the USA). This challenge is also the perfect time to recognize other remarkable
men in your life – a family member such as an uncle, a son, a nephew, or even a dear friend.
Please don't stop here...
I double-dog dare you to continue to Twisted Sister's
optional twist to earn an additional chance in our random draw.
says, "Many crafters have difficulty creating
masculine projects but in my experience thinking about their interests
and hobbies helps me develop an idea. Maybe
the men and boys in your life enjoy sports or vehicles, perhaps even
gardening or reading.
While you are thinking about that... My optional twist is to use a plaid or check. The
plaid or checked element can be hand-drawn, stamped, embossed, stenciled or patterned paper.
Please don't stop here...
I triple-dog dare you to continue to Double Dare's optional twist to earn an additional chance in our random draw.
says, "If you dared to make a masculine project and double-dog dared to include a 'plaid or check' in your project, you are almost
ready to enter your project at the Festive
Friday Card Making Challenge.
Finally, my triple-dog dare is to select at least one more element from Festive Friday's 'Inspo
List' to enter your finished project into their challenge."
Festive Friday Information: Your project doesn’t have
to be about Father's Day – at all! The selected festivity is just a
unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!
Additionally,
to be considered for the Festive Friday Faves, you can’t enter into more than five other challenges (including theirs).
My first inspiration for you uses Thing 1, Thing 2 (Monochromatic, Masculine, Plaids, Die Cuts), and Thing 3:
