Oh HOW cute! I adore mice and this card is really lovely! We saved a teeny Field Mouse one Winter about 12 years ago. We then had deep snow and that little mouse spent the entire winter in our garage in a fun cage. We called him Fudge as we'd used a humane trap in our garage - with fudge as the bait .............. and he was quite famous in the circle of our friends and colleagues. He came out to eat and play every night and ran around in his small mouse wheel whilst I cleaned his cage out and remade his bed etc. for him. He never once tried to escape either. He knew a good lodging house when he found one! When Spring came Len and I, rightly but very sadly. took him to a beautiful piece of safe woodland we know and opened the cage door. He twitched and then went half way to where we'd left him a little nest of bedding, water and food - before turning round one last time to look at us (me quietly crying) with his little bright button eyes ...... and then with a little swish of his tail he was off! I like to think that last little 'swish' of the tail was saying a 'thank you, I love you too but need to make my own way that Spring is here'. So please. never let a mouse scare you. PS - we returned a while later as Len was a rifle shooter then and the place was near to where he bought ammo. Fudge's hidden food store we left had gone - and was sure a pair of bright and happy black eyes were us from watching from the surrounding woodland around. We were so blessed that Fudge chose out garage to hide from the snow in! He chose US! The END! True story though!
