Hi Crafty Friends,
I love the DECADES Collection from Paper Nest Dolls. It is a series of dolls that features the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s etc. Today I am sharing the 50s girl, called Poodle Skirt Emma. I created an argyle background for her and made her more "modern" with the goth 50s look.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite decade to dress up like?
A: Me? The 80s!
Supplies:
Paper Nest Dolls Poodle Skirt Emma
Lawn Fawn Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables Dies

Cute color scheme. I would say my favorite would be 60s. I wear dresses that would fit in the early 60s--I love them!
ReplyDeleteThis adorable image really screams the 50's with her cute poodle skirt! The whole card is simply beautiful with the inking, stenciling & splattering as a wonderful BG. I can't say I dress up in any style, but I do love how the ladies wore pretty dresses in the 50's (like in the movie 'Mona Lisa Smile' set in 53-54).
ReplyDeleteLove this card. You-re in my decade.
ReplyDeleteHad the big skirt (don't think it had the
poodle on it though). Bobby socks,
saddle shoes - cat's meow.
thanks for sharing
