I was inspired by this picture of my mom reading at our summer vacation in Pentwater, Michigan back in the 90s ;)

ReplyDeleteHad to chuckle at your comment about tearing the page from a book. One time I was in an ATC swap and our theme was 'book print'. I couldn't bring myself to tear pages from any of my books, so I found some print papers with text on them and used those instead! When I passed them out to our group, I told them all, "No books were harmed in the creation of these ATCs."
What a sweet photo, thanks for sharing it. And we won't tell your mom that you used a page out of one of her books, but this card is adorable and it might bring a smile to her face to know that you used that for a background. Fabulous photo of your mom. I used to go to Pentwater as a child a few times. I like how you used a book page on the card.

This card is darling, sweet and so special! I love the vintage warm feel! The picture is precious, you (gals) really look like your mom. She would be proud and you should frame this card and display it always! Love it... my mom always wore a huge hat outside like your card. Love the sweatshirt on the beach feel of Michigan..... we've been to Pentwater. 🔆
