Hi Crafty Friends,
It's time for a NEW Challenge in the Rachelle Anne Miller Facebook Group! This month's theme as always is ANYTHING GOES but an Optional Twist for BONUS entries by following the theme Christmas/Happy Holidays. The prize is 2 digis and there are two chances! One is a random pick and one is the Design Team's Top Pick.
I am sharing a Christmas card featuring Christmas Sled. This reminds me of my childhood when my dad would pull us around in our sled and when my sister and I would build a sledding ramp down the stairs of our porch (see pics below).
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you go sledding or pull your kids in sleds?
A: Me? I don't have kiddos but I do pull my niece and nephew around.
JOIN the FACEBOOK GROUP and CHALLENGE HERE for your chance to win 2 Digis!
Don't forget to subscribe, follow, and comment on my blog for your chance to win my December Prize (see right panel) and for more giveaways and inspiration follow me on Instagram @MadeByMeghanK

Pretty coloring on this sweet image!
ReplyDeleteI was never in the snow as a kid, but we did take my daughter up to Lake Tahoe quite often when she was little and we played in the snow with a sled.
That's a sweet memory and a great card
ReplyDeleteMy kids went sledding when they were young when we drove up to the snow during the winter.
ReplyDeleteSuch a darling card. So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas for our December "Anything Goes" challenge.
Let's say I watched them sledding, not a participant but my husband was. Love this image and fantastic coloring... adorable and fun card. Thanks again for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Kat Scrappiness.
ReplyDeleteWow, this card is definitely inspired by your sledding days as a kid. I love those flash-back photos of you and your family...and seeing the sass shining through even then!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card -- your coloring is wonderful! Thanks for joining in at STAMP CAS Challenge

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing with us at Time Out!
Very cute card. Thanks for another submission at Time Out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card, Meghan!!! Love the image, and how you framed it with the wonky dies! I absolutely LOVED the photo of your Dad pulling you and your sister on the sled!!! Thank you for sharing your creativity and family photo with us at Double Trouble!!! -Donna
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy your lovely cards, Meghan, and thank you for sharing your photos! I lived in Florida as a child so no snow but we moved to New England when I was 14 and I learned what fun it was to go sledding and tobogganing. The climb up the hill was worth it for the fun of the ride down. Now I live in AZ and have not seen snow for many years. Thank you for playing along with us at Double Trouble #72.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet image and great card (as always!) When I lived up in the Chicago area when my boys were growing up we always went sledding. Sometimes they would go with their dad and I would stay home (and warm) and prepare the hot chocolate. My sons (and grandkids) still love winter sports.
ReplyDeleteLove the sledding scene you created and enjoyed your pictures. I used to love sledding as a kid, but have not done so in many years. If I remain in Florida I never will.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. We pulled our kids and now our grandkids and also use it to haul hay to the animals.
ReplyDeleteDarling trio of kiddies with sled, Meghan!! Just love your coloring!! Yes, I remember being pulled on a sled by my daddy too. We used to build ice forts in the boulevards in front the house - now I shudder to think of it!! So glad you could play along at Die Cut Divas this month!! Linda Diva DT
