I have a ROARING GOOD TIME Tutorial for you today featuring the NEW Roaring 20s Gals & Guys from C.C Designs. I made three monochrome cards with a similar design so once you start the process you can mass produce these for any occasion.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Can you do any of the Roaring 20s Dance moves? The Charleston? The Fox Trot? Black Bottom? Texas Tommy?
A: Me? I can do the Charleston
Let's start with the finished cards so you know what we will be creating.
Step #1: Die cut the white frame with the C.C Designs NEW Stitched Rectangle Die. Then, die cut the C.C Designs NEW Scallop Rectangle die cut from the same color as your card base. Adhere the two together and set them aside.
Step #2: Cut the patterned paper to 4 x 5.25 inches and adhere to your matching base.
Step #3: Die cut three different borders in the same cardstock as your bases using the C.C Designs NEW Border Dies.
Step #4: Cut a 2 inch stripe in a different patterned paper than your panel and adhere both your decorative border die and patterned paper stripe to your base horizontally. Trim the edges.
Step #5: Adhere your scallop frame with the white rectangle to the center of your cards and decide how you want to place your Roaring 20s Gals & Guys.
Step #6: Stamp the sentiments. I recommend you are very GENTLE with your pushing because all the sentiments have a very fancy script and if you press to hard it all blends to black.
Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope I provided you with some fun inspiration. Head to the store to get these awesome dies and amazing stamp sets! I can't wait to see what you create with them!
