We used to do a hunt when the kids were little. We started off with real eggs. Then went to plastic with candy. Then added some money...I think we need to do it this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your card is cute. I like the manly bunny :)
ReplyDeleteFun card with the lumber bunny. We do egg hunts for the grandkids.
ReplyDeleteThis is not a thing we did as kids.
ReplyDeleteBTW I love your beautiful dresses!
What an adorable post! I was born and raised in the Chicago area also. We had egg hunts with our boys when they were growing up....they loved it.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you colored the Lumber Bunnies!
ReplyDeleteWe always had egg hunts when I was a kid. The best hiding spot was a yellow dyed egg hidden up in our lemon tree! We had to have some help to find that one!
When my daughter was little we had egg hunts too! I even planned one at our local park for her school pals when they were all in kindergarten together.
The grandkid is 34, so I don't do
ReplyDeletean Easter egg hunt for her. We
always did them when the kids
were little and for the grandkid
when she was little. Miss those
days. Don't even have any boiled
eggs on hand at Easter. The
bunny reminds me of my husband.
He was burly too. thanks for
sharing. txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com
