It's time for a NEW Paper Craft Business Challenge. The theme for November Challenge #24 is "To Give As A Gift" (not just a card). It's the GIVING time of year. I decided to create a gift that isn't a card! Hope you like my ornaments! I used the lids from mason jars and painted them with primer then acrylic paint. I drew the faces with painty pens. I sealed them with glossy varnish and glitter varnish and finished them with ribbons and buttons.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you get a new ornament every year for your tree?
A: Me? I try! I love this woman who does a local craft show and makes wood ornaments and I try to get one from her every year.
The challenge runs from November 1st- November 28th! The winner gets this darling prize below.
I can't wait to see what you create! Enter HERE!
These are adorable! Love the gingerbread one!
ReplyDeleteI do usually add a new ornament each year. I like to find a special one that has some special significance for the year.
These ate so cute. I have been throwing away ornaments. Trying to downsize for a possible move😁
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these are just adorable and love that you used mason jar lids! I don't put up a tree anymore, since my kids all have their own families and homes now. However, I try to give my grandkids an ornament each Christmas and usually make them by hand. I'll have to give these a try!
ReplyDeleteThese are all just darling. The gingerbread is my favorite!! Soooo sweet! I used to get an ornament from my Mom every year, but she passed away 2 years ago. I don't buy any more if I can help it! I have too many as it is!! lol And I tend to make one anyway when I'm making some for my nieces & nephews.

Very cute. We don't need any more ornaments as our tree is smaller.

ReplyDeleteCUTE idea for ornaments! We get a new ornament (sometimes several) each year. It makes me teary eyed now when I put them on our trees....so many years and memories.
