Hi Crafty Friends,
HAPPY SPRING! April is here. This one took me FOREVER but totally worth it! I love butterflies and these tiny diecuts are just too cute. I cut them out of a rainbow assortment of cardstock and used mini glue dots to put them into a heart shape. I wanted to use the glue dots so that I could bend their wings up and make them look like they are about to fly from the card. Then I "doodled" the outline and stamped "dream" to finish it off.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite insect of spring? I know it's hard to like insects but try!
A: Me? I love seeing butterflies. They are so rare where I live that when you catch a glimpse of one it is truly special.

I am with you on butterflies-how can you not love them! And I adore all these colours you used and adding them to a die-an inspired idea-fab to see you at Time Out
ReplyDeleteMy favourite insect is the dragonfly - mostly because they eat the mosquitos :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card - definitely worth the time to adhere all the glue dots - the butterflies look like they are flying off the card front! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill
ooooo that's a good one! Fun Fact: We know how to kill off all mosquitos and it will not effect the eco system... we just haven't done it... heard it on Stuff You Should know Podcast.
