Hi Crafty Friends,
This is my LAST post as a Guest Designer for
Kat Scrappiness, but I'm sure I'll be back soon if they will have me! I
really enjoyed my time this month because I ADORE Kathleen and Kat
Scrappiness products. They are the best group of ladies and the store
amazing with all the unique products they carry! I made a fun birthday
card using the new release die sets from the 12th! They make fun
backgrounds so easy to make!
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Have you ever seen an owl in the wilderness? Not a zoo....
A: Me? No.... sadly I have not, I have heard them but never seen on except in a zoo
I started my card with the blue panel using the Stitched Cloud Backdrop die. Then I die cut the Wood Grain Frame and inked it with brown distress oxide to make the wood grain stand out!
I
assembled the scene, adding these darling owls from Gerda Designs that
are carried in the Kat Scrappiness Store! And of course the cute little
pun sentiment!
Thank you so much for checking out my blog. Please take a moment to comment and follow so you can answer
all the Make Crafty Friends Q & As and follow me on Instagram here!

Your card is darling. I love the embossed clouds and those darling owls. I live in the country and I don't see owls. You'd think they would be around.. well they probably are but just not to be seen. I love your card and fun someone is going to have receiving it. Thanks for sharing over at Aud Sentiments.

ReplyDeleteSo excited to see someone using this 'Cloud Die' as I won it with the Kat Scrappiness New Release! Its on its way to me now and can't wait to play with it. Your owls are so adorable, especially love the grumpy one down the bottom (reminds me of my husband.....)and your colouring really brings them to life. The woodgrain die goes with it so perfectly and the subtle cloud detail in the background is fabulous. So very happy to see you at TIME OUT!
ReplyDeleteSuper fun card, perfect for our Playful challenge! Love the pun in the sentiment and the way you positioned the owls makes a great design. Thanks for joining us at Time Out!
