Valentine's Day Puppy Series #4: Puppy Love with Clearly Besotted

Hi Crafty Friends!
I have one more in my Puppy Valentine Series! This is #4! If you missed the first three, you have to check out the cuteness! Here is #1, Here is #2, and Here is #3. This card I decided to try some new techniques. I blended oxide inks (Candy Apple and Pick Raspberry) then I took my Newton's Nook heart stencil and tried to put the heart on top with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide, it didn't turn out as bright as I wanted but subtle hearts works too! Then I splattered with water. I cut the scalloped hearts out to frame each puppy. I used my NEW Altenew Watercolor Brushes to brush red watercolor in the middle of the hearts. Next, I popped the cute little puppies in the hearts with foam tape and stamped the sentiments.

Annie & Thomas Sharing Hot Cocoa

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's Winter here in Chicago.The temperature is -5 degrees Fahrenheit and -20 degree wind chill today so I was inspired to make a cozy card with these two darling kids with their warm mugs of cocoa. I colored them to look like my darling niece and nephew (see below).

Ewe Are Amazing

Hi Crafty Friends,
I was inspired by Cupcake Creations Challenge this week use the colors pink and white. Why not make a PINK lamb? I am thinking this is a perfect card for a little girl to boost her self confidence with the sentiment "EWE ARE AMAZING". I accented it with buttons because I LOVE buttons especially PINK ones!

Crafty Mistakes Just Like Life Mistakes Are OK-Patch It Up and Keep Going

Hi Crafty Friends,
Sharing a quick Birthday Card I made to show that your cards don't always have to be PERFECT! I spilled something on this after everything was glued down. I love the image, love the colors, and I was tempted to just throw it out but I didn't! I "patched" it up and I am sure the receiver won't even notice and if they do, oh well, we all make mistakes! I also am joining the As You Like It Challenge: Favorite Buttons or Pearls? I'm definitely a button girl! I even had a company where I sold button earrings for awhile called Button Bumpkin!

You Are Mermazing with Ariel & Flounder

Hi Crafty Friends,
Who doesn't love DISNEY? Especially Disney Princesses! I decided to color this amazing Tiddly Inks Mermaid like Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Then I colored the little fishes surrounding her like her best friend Flounder! (see bottom of the post to see what I used as inspiration) I created the background blending distress oxide inks and splattering it with water. Then I finished if off with the "Mermazing" sentiment and 4x "I Am Roses" Flowers to match.
