Bookshelf Beauties

Hi Crafty Friends,
I know many people skip the fall cards and decorations and go straight to Christmas but I love the colors of fall. I created two cards with one of my favorite nighttime activities before bed, reading. They feature the Brass & Bliss Whispers of Fall 6x9 Paper Pad 2306 and Brass & Bliss Bookshelf Beauty Die 3858D.

Card #1: It's Not Hoarding if it's Books! 

Step #1: I started my card by creating my background using Brass & Bliss Repeating Bricks Stencil 4102 and white stencil paste. I just love the texture of the white bricks.

Step #2: I die cut the books and shelves from various fall colors from the Whisper of Fall Paper Pad and glued all the tiny designs on each of the books. Then, I arranged the books on my brick background with the long shelf and short shelf.

Step #3: I added the sentiment from the Brass & Bliss Between the Pages Stamp Set 37041. I die cut the sentiment using Brass & Bliss Nested Tag Dies 5704D. I finished my card with some enamel dots that match the peach book covers.

I used the BYSH Sketch Challenge #62 for this cute Christmas card design featuring Tim Holtz Santa Die. I love the layers!!! He is probably the cutest Santa I own! The cute Falala die is from Alex Syberia Designs.

Warmest Wishes Snowman Heads

Hi Crafty Friends,
I am sharing these fun snowman faces from the Poppy Stamps Nordic Winter Magic Release. These cute dies are called Nordic Chilly Snowman 2742.

A: Me? If I didn't do purple, I would do pink 

Step #1: I started my card by creating the snowman heads with shades of purple from Poppy Stamps Twilight Purple 6x6 Paper Pad SP1008. 

 

Step #2: I die cut my background Scalloped Pinpoints Framed Die 2751 in the darkest shade of purple from the Poppy Stamps Twilight pad and the plaid center is from Memory Box Anemone Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad PP1025. 

Step #3: I finished my card by lining up the three snowman heads across the center and adding the Warmest Wishes Banner Sentiment from Poppy Stamps Holiday Banners Stamp and Dies Set CB517
