Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm so excited to share a tutorial with you for not only one but two fun rainbow birthday cards! These are so simple to do with no coloring just stencils and die cuts. They both feature products from Brass & Bliss and will brighten anyone's special day.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you like snarky birthday sentiments or sappy birthday sentiments?
A: Me? Snarky
Card #1: Rainbow Candles
Step #1: I started my card by stenciling the background with Brass & Bliss Birthday Candle Layering Stencil 4406. I simply taped off each candle section so that I could use 4 different Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Inks; Crimson, Apricot, Basil, and Sierra.
Step #2: I used Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Ink in Custard for my candle flames. Then, I die cut the background out of the Brass & Bliss Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Set 5013D to give it a cute stitched edge.
Step #3: I dies cut the Brass & Bliss Candles with Layers Die 5804-04D out of matching cardstock to the inks with a lighter color base candle. I arranged them on my stenciled background by alternating one candle up, one candle a little lower.
Step #4: I finished my card with a fun snarky sentiment from Brass & Bliss I Thought You Knew Stamp Set 36062 stamped on Brass & Bliss Off Set Tag Dies 5605-03D.

Card #2: Rainbow Celebrate
Step #1: I started my card by stenciling the Brass & Bliss Drips & Splatter Stencil 4402 in rainbow colors using Brass & Bliss Detail Blending Brushes and Color Fuse Inks Crimson, Apricot, Custard, Basil, and Sierra. I splattered it with Distress Oxide Black Soot Ink.
Step #2: I die cut the Brass & Bliss Celebrate with Shadow Die 5801-02D in colored cardstock to match each of the rainbow colors. I only used the sentiment portion and not the shadow. Then, I glued each celebrate to it's coordinating color on my background using Bearly Art Glue.
Step #3: I die cut my Drips & Splatter stenciled background out with Brass & Bliss Dot Dash Nested Rectangle Die 5802-03D and mounted it on black cardstock so it really popped.
Step #4: I finished my card by adding black enamel dots in the spaces created by the offset Celebrate Words.
