Mini Birthday Cake

Hi Crafty Friends,
I love the birthday collection from Poppy Stamps. Their Birthday Love Dies are so fun for creating whimsical unique birthday cards. I am featuring the precious little Brilliant Birthday Cake Die and Happy Birthday Streamer Script Die.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your zodiac sign?
A: Me? Virgo

Step #1: I started by creating the cake using the pattern paper from Poppy Stamps Birthday Fun 6x6 Paper Pad and metallic paper from Poppy Stamps Vintage Pastel Mirror 6x6 Paper Pad.
Step #2: I die cut the Happy Birthday Sentiment from paper matching the cake base in blue.
Step #3: I die cut the Poppy Stamps Sun Beam Frame Die from gold metallic paper to match the gold confetti in the background paper.
Step #4: I glued all my pieces together and layered the onto a white card base with the cake right in the center of the radiating beams.

Swiftie Sleepover Cardmaking with My Niece

Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm so excited to show you the NEWEST edition to the darling stamps at C.C Designs. This set is called Swift, can you guess who it is? My niece fell in LOVE with this set as soon as I got it so we had a sleepover to make our T. Swift cards. We literally listened to her songs all night and watched Americana on Netflix. My niece's card is the blue one and mine is the pink. This was her first time using Copic Markers and all my craft goodies! Can you believe how awesome she did! I used Pink and Main In the Stars Foilables with Thermoweb Color Harmony Shades of Pink Foils. The stars are Brass & Bliss Nested Stars Die. She used the Thermoweb Endless Love Toner Sheets and Color Harmony Shades of Blue Foils.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite Taylor Swift Song?
A: Me? Calm Down

Card #2: Aunt Meghan's Taylor Swift

Rainbow Birthday Cards

Hi Crafty Friends,
I'm so excited to share a tutorial with you for not only one but two fun rainbow birthday cards! These are so simple to do with no coloring just stencils and die cuts. They both feature products from Brass & Bliss and will brighten anyone's special day.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you like snarky birthday sentiments or sappy birthday sentiments?
A: Me? Snarky

Card #1: Rainbow Candles

Step #1: I started my card by stenciling the background with Brass & Bliss Birthday Candle Layering Stencil 4406. I simply taped off each candle section so that I could use 4 different Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Inks; Crimson, Apricot, Basil, and Sierra.

Step #2: I used Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Ink in Custard for my candle flames. Then, I die cut the background out of the Brass & Bliss Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Die Set 5013D to give it a cute stitched edge.

Step #3: I dies cut the Brass & Bliss Candles with Layers Die 5804-04D out of matching cardstock to the inks with a lighter color base candle. I arranged them on my stenciled background by alternating one candle up, one candle a little lower.

Step #4: I finished my card with a fun snarky sentiment from Brass & Bliss I Thought You Knew Stamp Set 36062 stamped on Brass & Bliss Off Set Tag Dies 5605-03D.

Supplies:
Brass & Bliss I Thought You Knew Stamp Set 36062
Brass & Bliss Off Set Tag Dies 5605-03D

Brass & Bliss Blending Brushes
Brass & Bliss Birthday Candle Layering Stencil 4406

Card #2: Rainbow Celebrate

Step #1: I started my card by stenciling the Brass & Bliss Drips & Splatter Stencil 4402 in rainbow colors using Brass & Bliss Detail Blending Brushes and Color Fuse Inks Crimson, Apricot, Custard, Basil, and Sierra. I splattered it with Distress Oxide Black Soot Ink.

Step #2: I die cut the Brass & Bliss Celebrate with Shadow Die 5801-02D in colored cardstock to match each of the rainbow colors. I only used the sentiment portion and not the shadow. Then, I glued each celebrate to it's coordinating color on my background using Bearly Art Glue.

Step #3: I die cut my Drips & Splatter stenciled background out with Brass & Bliss Dot Dash Nested Rectangle Die 5802-03D and mounted it on black cardstock so it really popped.

Step #4: I finished my card by adding black enamel dots in the spaces created by the offset Celebrate Words.

Supplies:
Brass & Bliss Drips & Splatter Stencil 4402
Brass & Bliss Detail Blending Brushes
Brass & Bliss Color Fuse Inks Crimson, Apricot, Custard, Basil, and Sierra
