Wishing You Oceans of Happiness

Hi Crafty Friends,
I was inspired by Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #226 Summer Theme. I used Newton's Nook Summer Moments Stamp Set and CASEd Tina Herbeck's Design. I just love the ombre blue and how she did glitter on the water.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you prefer a lake or ocean?
A: Me? Lake, much calmer and no salt

Supplies:

  1. So pretty! Love the water and sky!
I love the ocean. I'm not a swimmer, but I love walking along the shore and looking for pieces of sea glass.

  2. I like both. Lakes are peaceful but usually very buggy and if you swim in them, I HATE the feel of the bottom of a lake ICK ICK! At the beach (or, in my area of the mid-Atlantic, the "shore"), I don't mind walking in the shallow area and I don't mind the salt, but just the hassle of getting to the beach is a lot... I generally end up in the mountains at a lake. My father-in-law lives on a lake but in SC, the lake he lives on is always like bathwater.
Your cards are super - I love the one w/ the lighter sand and no blue border, especially.

  5. Fabulous scene, Meghan! The technique you used to create the ocean is so clever. Thank you for joining our challenge at Double Trouble #170. I have lived more than half of my life within an hour of an ocean. While I enjoy the serenity of a lake, I love the sounds and smells of the ocean best.
